For this essay, you will select a community and health problem of interest to you. This will be Hispanic single moms from ages 18-25 living in Oxnard, CA. Using the social ecological model, you will conduct a literature review and find at least one scholarly source for each level on the social ecological model. You will then include the citation and a brief summary of the article and how it relates to your health problem and community. You will share contributing factors to the community and health issue at each level of the social ecological model. The social ecological model includes the following levels:

Individual: Things that impact an individual. This includes things like knowledge, attitude, and beliefs.
Interpersonal: This is what impact social networks and fabrics. It includes things like culture, relationships, and norms.
Organizational: This is how organizations contribute to the health issue or community. This can include organizational policies, services, and standards.
Community: This includes how the community impacts health. What is the community dynamic? What assets are available? What resources are lacking?
Policy: This includes local, state, national, or global policy that impacts health. Think about laws and policies.
In summary, find scholarly sources related to your health problem and community at each level of the social ecological model. This is intended to help you develop a holistic perspective of your community and health problem. Summarize the article, cite it, and share how it relates to your community and health problem. A minimum of three Google scholarly sources are required, but there really should be five sources.
