Conduct research on Big Data and how this technology is being used in business practice. As you research, you will need to find examples of the technology being used in two different firms. Using the library’s Wall Street Journal database and Business Source Premier database are good places to research the topic and identify firms that are using the technology. Write a paper that details your findings. Your paper should include the following:
1. Identify and describe the technology you have selected to research
2. Discuss each of the examples you have found of the technology being used in business practice
3. As you summarize your findings, connect your examples with what you have learned about:
o Systems and their contributions to organizational strategy and/or efficiency
o Ethical issues in information technology
o How the system fits into the organization’s information systems as a whole
o Systems development and project management implications
Your paper should be a minimum of two full pages (singe-spaced, font size 12) with an additional page for your bibliography.
