Assignment Context:
You are a learning program manager. Your learning program consists of 3 trainers, an evaluation department, and a team of 5 instructional designers. Your company/organization builds (or creates) customizable curricula for various clients. A client has contacted you requesting a minimum 3-day in-person training on a specific topic with a budget of $25,000 for 50 employees in December 2024. The project must follow the ADDIE instructional design model to ensure systematic planning, development, and execution. Your project timeline runs from February 1, 2024, through February 1, 2025. ALL training must be provided no later than December 15, 2024. You must find a venue to host the training as neither you nor the client has available space during the month of training. Your final project requires creating a comprehensive project plan to present to the client outlining the plan for their training. In-person training between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. requires at least one meal break and two snack/coffee breaks. You’ll design or complete a minimum of 5 lessons and go through the entire ADDIE instructional design process (i.e., analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). For your final project, you will create a comprehensive project plan to present to the client outlining the plan for their training.
