Learning Outcomes
The students will strengthen their knowledge in lectures and tutorials by implementing finite element analysis on a still-in-use bridge. The students need to develop a Matlab function named Ke3D to derive the member stiffness of the hexahedral element and assess the bridge safety based on stress analysis.
