Describe how God’s people worshipped Him in the patriarchal period, specifically, the period of wandering in the desert.

The final paper for The Pentateuch course is comprised of three parts, as listed below. Each part will cover a portion of the material covered in the reading and class discussions and should be four to five pages in length. Be sure to follow MLA guidelines to avoid losing points for formatting. Of course, whole books have been written on these topics, so it will be essential to summarize carefully, capturing and analyzing the most important points. The three components of the paper should be submitted as one final paper: One properly formatted title page, separate headings for each of the three parts, and one Works Cited page containing all the references supporting the in-text citations within the three parts of the paper should be included. The three components to be addressed are as follows: 1. List the elements of God’s promise to Abraham, illustrating how each was fulfilled through Abraham’s descendants (as explained in the Pentateuch) and ultimately through Christ. 2. Describe how God’s people worshipped Him in the patriarchal period, specifically, the period of wandering in the desert. 3. Document the conflict between God and Satan throughout the Pentateuch in chronological order and how God was victorious. Be sure to include a minimum of ten (10) occurrences which may include the following two examples: o Satan spoiled God’s perfect creation through the introduction of sin; God’s victory is the promise of the coming Messiah/Savior (Gen 3:15, 21). o Satan attempted to thwart God’s plan of a true seed (Isaac) and Abraham’s attempt to ‘help God’s plan come to fruition (Ishmael). God’s victory was in the promised heir and miraculous birth of Isaac.
