Looking at your list of sources, identify those that you believe to have been authored by the media. Put these in a new Word document.
You should have at least FIVE media coverage sources. If you do not have five media coverage sources, get them. These should not be the same as your “activist” or “expert” sources.
Next, compare the way information is presented by the media and by experts. What are the primary differences you see between the ways the two groups package their claims? Be sure to provide specific examples.
Imagine that you are an activist trying to gain media attention for your condition. What are five specific strategies you would use to get more attention focused on this condition?
